What Cera does
Cera is a wax and fragrance calculator developed by Nox Systems. It works with one wax or premixed wax blend and one fragrance. You can save recipes and recalculate them for a different number of candles.
Your formula and materials
You choose the weight, fragrance percentage, percentage basis, and unit. Cera calculates quantities; it doesn't determine whether a formula is suitable for your materials or process. It doesn't recommend wicks, temperatures, or fragrance limits. Follow your suppliers' guidance and test your candles.
Displayed amounts may be rounded, as indicated in the app. Check your inputs before weighing.
Recipes and backups
The app stores data locally. Export backups outside Cera's folder to keep your recipes if you lose your device or delete the app. Importing a backup adds copies and doesn't automatically replace existing recipes.
App purchase
Cera is a one-time US$9.99 download on the US App Store, with all features included and no limit on saved recipes. There are no subscriptions or in-app upgrades. Apple handles the purchase under the App Store's terms.
Batch tools
Planning from available wax uses your current formula and counts whole candles. It doesn't allow for pouring losses or check your other supplies. Weighing marks are a temporary checklist, not a record that a candle is finished or tested. A shared batch sheet contains your quantities and any materials and notes saved with the recipe.
